As we transition into the autumn season, it's time to reflect on the progress made during the third quarter of 2023 through the Lido Ecosystem Grants Organization (LEGO).

During this quarter, we witnessed a notable emphasis on Research, Security, and Social Impact grants. Additionally, grants for Analytical Tools and various other insightful projects were disbursed, resulting in a total grant disbursement of a promising $545.8K for Q3 2023.

One of the standout projects this quarter includes a phase 2 completion of the research lead by Nethermind of a mechanism for a good validator set maintenance, which we’re happy to present later in this review.

Issued grants structure

To ensure maximum transparency, the LEGO committee has produced a regular report highlighting the accomplishments of the third quarter of 2023. You can always check financial transactions database for a complete history of disbursed grants.

During this period, grants issued in the Research category took the lead, amounting to a total of $250K. Subsequently, funds were allocated to Lido on ETH protocol Security ($100K), Social Impact and Decentralization support ($85K), Security assessments ($63K), Analytical tools dev. and support ($40.6K), Marketing ($6,6K), and various other nice grants.

Overall, the disbursed grants for Q3 2023 amounted to $545.8k.
